Aware of the impact that tourism can have on our natural and social environment, we have adopted a series of initiatives designed to reduce our ecological footprint and promote sustainable practices. These actions are aimed at promoting environmental responsibility among both our employees and our guests, with the aim of generating positive change. Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in every aspect of our operation, from reducing resource consumption to adopting technologies and procedures that minimize our impact on the ecosystem.
Our Hotel Cimbel has become the first hotel in Spain to implement a photovoltaic pergola for self-consumption, making our Luxury rooms with private pools self-sufficient in terms of energy. In addition, we have adopted measures to reduce our energy consumption by installing LED lighting systems and optimising the use of air conditioning.
We have implemented water-saving systems in all facilities, including low-consumption taps and showers, which allows us to significantly reduce the waste of this valuable resource. In parallel, we carry out awareness campaigns among both our employees and our guests, with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of responsible and sustainable use of water.
At Hotel Cimbel we have established a recycling program that includes separating waste into different containers, as well as reducing the use of single-use plastics. The cleaning products and amenities we offer our guests are carefully chosen, prioritizing biodegradable and environmentally friendly products.
In the restaurant and other points of consumption at Hotel Cimbel, we have adopted a sustainability-based approach by prioritizing the purchase of local and seasonal products. This decision not only allows us to offer fresh, high-quality food to our guests, but also plays a crucial role in reducing the carbon footprint associated with transporting food over long distances.
At Hotel Cimbel, we are proud to have a parking lot equipped with electric vehicle charging stations, reaffirming our support for cleaner technologies. These stations allow our guests the convenience of charging their electric cars safely and efficiently during their stay, contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions and promoting the use of less polluting transport.
